Great RC car. Great rear steering
Just overall a great company and has secret gym parts
The rear steering control sucks!!! To center the steering while driving is very irritating, the beeping noise is so low when it is centered. Rear steering should center when you let go of the steering nobb, otherwise it is a very capable rig,
Firstly I placed my order September 5th the day the Furitek website stated was the estimated shipping date in the US. After a week of not hearing any updates (website still stated 9/5/25), I emailed customer service. I was told the Terra X should ship in about a week, they were tied up in customs.
October 6th the shipment arrived! I installed a charged battery and tried the truck out in some rocks in my yard. It performed ok, but seemed to be geared too low, not enough wheel speed. I have a custom built crawler with the same FurItek Unity combo in it, and it has more than enough wheel speed for my needs!
The only other thing I don't like is the sensitivity of the rear steer control on the Avatar transmitter, seems I'm always fumbling to center the rear wheels ( maybe a knob that would return to center might be easier?)
Overall it's a good truck, great features and hardware, with a few tweaks I'm sure I can make it work better. Still a great value at this price point!
