Introducing the Furitek STINGER 118 brushless power system for Traxxas TRX4M, the system includes the Micro Komodo 1212 3450kv with lighter and smaller size yet very powerful at low speed but also more powerful and fast at high speed. The motor is designed with high torque at low speed crawling and with a special firmware from the Lizard Pro ESC, this motor is super smooth without any cogging at both low and high speed operation.

This is great for my trx4m with crawler gears. I have more control and speed than with the brushed motor
The Mini Komodo gets the job done. Plenty of torque down low and the punch is something a brushed motor can't beat. The instructions could be a bit more detailed, not my 1st brushless setup, but for anyone who is new, there are things like LVC that should be explained. The app instructions I had to find searching on the internet.
Great system and easy to install. Great for crawlers. Smooth
I first installed the Cedar motor into my TRX-4M. I was excited because I first tried it with the stock gear ratio and it was super fast but still was able to slow crawl. The slow crawl was great on flat surface. But put it on an incline under load and it cogged horrendously bad! I decided to try the Micro Komodo since I have it in my AX24. It works great. Crawl is super smooth. Even though I Paired it with low range crawler gears, it can still go fast enough for a decent walking pace. Exactly what I wanted. I now have 3 Micro Komodos. 1 in a TRX4M High Trail, 1 in an AX24 and 1 in an Injora Rock Buggy build. I have the Lizard Pro in the TRX-4M and AX24, while I am running the Python Pro in the Rock Buggy. I'm telling you, once you go brushless, that's all you'll want!

This ESC and motor combo is so smooth and controlled it blew me away. I was worried i would get stuttering down low slow crawl, and I do not have any at all. I am using the low range gears in the trx4m. The punch you get will almost pull the front end off the ground with all the brass. it's nuts. Love it. Thank you for making a great product.
This is a perfect companion for your TRX4M, . The performance of the micro Komodo and the Lizard pro is smooth and powerful, offering plenty of torque to your rig for slow crawling and enough wheel speed to bashing around. this is a setting that can be used for professional or occasional drivers alike. I am definitely recommend it go for it, you won’t regret it
I love the platform but there is one problem every time there is a small load or i go full throttle on flat land the motor stops and i cant have any throttle input the only way i found to fix is to turn off the esc and turn it back on please help out
