The Furitek CALIAN rolling cage for Axial UTB18 is handmade with 100% real titanium material with high skilled TIG welding process.
Titanium is known for its light weight and ultimate strength, but it is very difficult to weld. At 1/18th scale, the welding process is even much more difficult and laborious. Together with beautiful anodizing color, this is a piece of art for your AXIAL UTB18.

A little more thought into this piece and it would be perfect. The side plates don't protect the wires and electronics as you lose the boat sides from the original cage. An additional bar in the front would allow you to hide the hood latch like the factory one and two small supports would solidify the grill area which I'm afraid is going to break on the first real accident I have. Luckily I have the tools and experience to modify it appropriately but if someone doesn't they are spending a decent amount of money for something that looks cool but needs more design thought put into it.

Everything came out excellent and the quality is worth the price. The rock lights near the front tires do need some adjustment (for future batches in my opinion) but if you’re comfortable with a Dremel or a little filing finesse it’s not a huge project. Also, keep in mind that the gold panels/plates that come with it are made for this, so the holes on the chassis cage do NOT align with the stock Axial panels (the green or orange options), nor do other panels you might choose to add in the future. I didn’t like the gold ones so I purchased some nice ones from Club5Racing, but you’ll have to drill new holes in the panels to align with the fixed welded holes on the Furitek chassis. Overall it looks fantastic. It isn’t “perfect”, but it definitely has the look of a real scale cage of a 1/1 scale rock crawler you’d see in real life. I love it! A real R/C enthusiast will also.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
