I did use the aluminum links yet. The servo and servo mount are awesome.
I have 4 Hobby plus rigs.
All built with hobby plus high clearance links and steering links.
I know the 1024 is a servo on axle so you have to eliminate the aluminum servo mount.
I was told by direct Rc and hobby plus that these steering links work with 1024.
They do not,the linkage bind on each other because they hit under the servo horn provided with servo.
Cant run link in the upper servo horn because the screw hits the servo case.And reduces steering.
The only way to make these work is to mount everything in the front part of the servo horn which leave the linkage at a funky angle.
Would not purchase again until they solve design issue.
I filed a groove in the lower link and filed a flat spot in the upper link at the servo horn mount.
I asked Direct rc to find out which torq servo they sell that will fit CR 18s with the hobby plus aluminum servo plate and linkage.
No responds.
Awesome piece of kit for the CR18P, definitely improves steering power. I did have to upgrade my esc in the V3 T-Hunter to get the ability to change BEC to 7.4v though, which was a bummer - but not this parts fault.
looks nice, mounts without issue. died after only being used 3 or 4 times less than a month after purchasing it.

Very easy installation, heavier than the stock servo, stronger, faster, quieter... It's worth it if you're looking for a big upgrade!
I installed it and it failed wright out of the box. Maybe I got a defective one. One thing is it doesn't line up with the steering linkage, like the stock one did.
I highly recommend this servo it’s a direct mount servo so no servo mount needed it’s fast and strong great upgrade from stock
